  1. Making A Bootable Disk
  2. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

  4. If you wish to make a bootable floppy from this archive (like, for example,
  5. you have no hard drive) then you will need to follow the following steps:
  6.  
  7. 1.    Format a disk!
  8.  
  9. 2.    Install it with INSTALL DF0:
  10.  
  11. 3.    Make the following directories with MKDIR:
  12.  
  13.     C
  14.     S
  15.     LIBS
  16.  
  17. 4.    Unarchive SVDemo.lha onto this disk.
  18.  
  19. 5.    Make a startup-sequence in the s: directory which reads
  20.  
  21.     run svdemo ; endcli
  22.  
  23. 6.    Copy "run" and "endcli" from your Workbench disk to the c:
  24.     directory on your floppy.
  25.  
  26. 7.    Copy "mathtrans.library" and "diskfont.library" to your libs:
  27.     directory on the floppy.  Try to use OS1.3 libraries; then the game
  28.     runs on older machines too.
  29.  
  30. 8.    Fiddle about, correct errors etc. and finally play the thing.
